Do you remember those nights when you sat in front of the CRT TV, clutching the controller tightly, your eyes glued to the flickering screen? The thrill of popping a new game into the console and diving into a completely different world? At 8openings.de we also remember these times. And that's exactly why we created "The Pixel" for you and every single pixel was hand-painted.
A tribute to those unforgettable moments that awakened your ambition and filled you with a mix of tension and euphoria. We've included a number of Easter eggs in the design, just waiting for you to discover.
Bring the memories of the nights in front of the tube television back to life and immerse yourself in the world of “Oberhau II”. A game we only wish had existed when we were younger.
Our vision of a pixel HEMA game was brought to life by Adrian Bormann. You can get a glimpse of his impressive work in his portfolio at https://ashtarea.artstation.com/ .
Fabric update:
You probably already know the fabric we use for the technical shirts? These are actually also ideal for rash guards. It is thinner, less tight, lighter, dries faster and allows you to slip into your jacket as easily as usual. So try it out or choose the usual “compression fabric” that we have previously used for the rash guards.
